Free School University Thank you and Community Outreach report back

THANK YOU for making the Occupy Boston Open House –IMMIGRATION – Community Gathering, 6/25/12 such a success!!!

Our evening began with great food brought from East Boston by David, who invited and coordinated our exceptional collective of community organizers and educators.

Lydia Edwards of BIC spoke started us off with a discussion focused on people who service our society: domestic workers: people, who clean, raise children. This sector also includes the people who create our food and electrical energy.

"Until today, the governor has not been held accountable for his lack of action on anti-immigrant initiatives- we've taken care of them. Now, the ownership is on him. Let's make sure we hold him accountable to the people he has sworn to protect."
