Meetup on the Boston Common Weekdays

Boston Common Bandstand Meetup: Weekdays 6:30PM - 7:30PM

Howdy folks! I'll be at the bandstand on the Boston Common from 6:30PM to 7:30PM all week if folks want to come down and talk about ways to get directly involved in community outreach and charitable action. 

My name is KC, and I have a very specific set of skills... (couldn't resist). 

I specialize in social media integration, web marketing and search engine optimization.  This dovetails nicely with folks that want to lend a hand in their community.  The large majority of them have something to say, and some of them don't know how to get it seen. Rather than spend money frivolously, come down for a chat, I'm here to help. 

I've been, and will be at the Boston Common every weekday from 6:30PM - 7:30PM in order to network and swap techniques with anyone that's interested.  I can give you a verbal rundown on some tips for how to make your message more visible, or set up times to meet later if the discussion is going to take a while, or a tutorial is needed.  

This is a great opportunity for folks to meet up, and discuss projects outside of the resident occupation or political cause.  Politics isn't everything, a lot of the experience gathered at occupations can be very helpful to teach to a younger generation.  Lessons in conflict resolution, tolerance, team building etc, have been essential to working with each other.  Let's pollinate a community sorely in need of new techniques for dealing with a growing laundry list of problems.

Social media is the tip of a very large iceberg when it comes to communication in activism, as well as sharing interests. We need to communicate with each other more effectively, we need to take these discussions about community outreach beyond twitter and chatrooms.  Let's meetup!
