Occupy the Economy

The Sustainable Economy team is surveying farms to determine which are "sustainable enough" to meet with its seal of approval...and to start the list of companies that the mapping tool will encourage people to "vote with their bucks" to "Occupy the Economy".

Anyway, here's the Local Green Guide, which is one of the "rating agencies" that the SE folks are considering adding to the list of "good businesses":

Check it out and provide feedback, if you like.  In addition to their "green" pledge, we require any businesses we list to pay a "living wage", which includes provision for healthcare, shelter and good food.  So we'll probably be doing a survey of these businesses, too, in addition to the other members of various rating agencies that we decide
to work with.
